First look: Instantly, you will see the Geek Fuel’s custom tissue paper. I always appreciate little details like this, even if it’s branded tissue paper.

 

Every month, Geek Fuel includes an in-house magazine which features an ultimate geek gift guide, photos of the Geek Fuel community, and more!

 

The first item we received is an exclusive Epic Enamels Turtles Edition. There are five designs that we have the chance of receiving: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Shredder which is rare. I got Leonardo who is my boyfriend’s second favorite (Michelangelo is his first), so he appreciated the pin. I would have loved Donatello since I’m more on the nerdy and techy side, but at least one of us likes Leonardo!

 

Next is one out of nine Deadpool Domes Collectible Minis. I received chef Deadpool #3 which is adorable, but since I had a bad experience dating chefs in my life, I hate chefs. I’m just kidding!

 

Every month, Geek Fuel includes a downloadable Steam game. This month’s feature game is The Dwarf Run which is part RPG, part point-and-click adventure, and a whole lot of fun! It brings back those old school RPG games like Diablo and Baldur’s Gate. Also, the artwork reminds me of Dragon Age Origins during the Deep Roads gameplay, so that’s extra brownie points!

 

We also received a Hidden Staircase floor mat which is another Geek Fuel exclusive. The floor mat is inspired by the Legend of Zelda’s dungeon staircase, and you can use this as a shower mat. It feels too thick to be used as a bath mat, so I’ll most likely use it as a doormat in the hallway. It’s perfect for the home but terrible for dungeons!

 

Last but not least is a South Park The Fractured But Whole shirt. I love this shirt and despite seeing every episode, quoting every South Park character, and even played the Stick of Truth a thousand times, I have never owned South Park merchandise (minus the game)! When they announced The Fractured But Whole game, I was excited only to be let down when the game was delayed. Either way, I’ll be wearing this shirt when the game releases!  

 

Final thoughts: I enjoyed Geek Fuel! I’m not a fan of mass produced items like the Deadpool Dome, but I loved the rug, shirt, and especially the game. I know that the Steam game is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s the one thing I appreciate the most since I enjoy trying out indie games.  The game also makes Geek Fuel stand out compared to other geek boxes!
